Australia’s largest precious metals event and the peak body of the country’s gold sector have come together in partnership at a time when enthusiasm for precious metals is at its highest in several years.

With many gold companies’ share prices having doubled and the Australian dollar gold price nudging record highs, the organiser of the Precious Metals Investment Symposium, Kerry Stevenson, says: “Our collaboration with the Gold Industry Group is a fantastic way to show the strength of the industry and its importance to Australia’s economy. 

“The Precious Metals Investment Symposium, which will be held in Sydney in October, will bring together members of the Gold Industry Group and investors.”

The Gold Industry Group represents gold producers, explorers, prospectors and suppliers to provide a united voice for Australia’s gold industry and promote its importance.

The partnership with the Precious Metals Investment Symposium means representatives of the whole precious metals eco-system - from dirt to coins and bars - will be involved.

“There is a great opportunity for us to positively influence our industry’s collective future,” said Gold Industry Group Chairman Richard Hayes.

This is the 7th year for Australia’s largest precious metals event. It will be held at Sydney’s Four Points by Sheraton on 10-11 October 2016. PMIS 2016 will bring together Australia’s business leaders and investors to educate, inform, network and do business in the important sector of precious metals.
