The Gold Industry Group took West Coast Fever premiership players on a community tour of Kalgoorlie-Boulder this week, featuring heart-thumping emergency response drills at Northern Star Resources’ Super Pit, high-energy netball clinics with budding young athletes and a unique community signing session with the prized trophy.

West Coast Fever players experienced WA’s golden outback in March as they kicked off their preseason, treating the community to two action-packed games in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and a day of community clinics.
As the Principal Partner of Netball WA, West Coast Fever and Shooting Stars, the Gold Industry Group supported the stars return to the region after the success of their inaugural trip last year, in conjunction with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
West Coast Fever trio Shannon Eagland, Ingrid Colyer and Alice Teague-Neeld will visit Western Australia’s Goldfields region from 28 November - 1 December, as part of the Gold Industry Group’s partnership with netball in WA.
The players will engage with young netballers in local communities while taking in the sights and sounds of Australia’s largest outback city.
