Carter steps up to Chair

Gold Fields Vice President of Legal and Compliance Kelly Carter has taken the reins from long-term Gold Industry Group Chair Richard Hayes.

Ms Carter was appointed to lead the Group at yesterday’s Board meeting following four years as Vice Chair, with Gold Road Resources General Manager - Capability and Culture Stuart Jenner stepping into Vice Chair.

The Gold Industry Group welcomed three new Directors at its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday resulting in an even gender split, including Westgold Group Executive Chairman Peter Cook, Saracen Mineral Holdings General Manager People, Culture and Communications Marianne Dravnieks, and Newmont Group Executive Legal, Sustainability and External Relations Australia Andrew Kennedy.
