The Gold Industry Group hosted its seventh annual networking sundowner with more than 100 guests on May 3 at QT Perth, celebrating the industry’s community impact, sharing its latest activities, and acknowledging the extraordinary contribution of its Gold Class Facilitators.
The Gold Industry Group took West Coast Fever premiership players on a community tour of Kalgoorlie-Boulder this week, featuring heart-thumping emergency response drills at Northern Star Resources’ Super Pit, high-energy netball clinics with budding young athletes and a unique community signing session with the prized trophy.
Mt Magnet was rocked by some of West Coast Fever’s stars last month as they were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Ramelius Resources’ Mt Magnet gold mine, before hosting a free netball skills clinic for the local community earlier this month.

West Coast Fever players experienced WA’s golden outback in March as they kicked off their preseason, treating the community to two action-packed games in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and a day of community clinics.
As the Principal Partner of Netball WA, West Coast Fever and Shooting Stars, the Gold Industry Group supported the stars return to the region after the success of their inaugural trip last year, in conjunction with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
